Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily plant operations and employees, assign daily tasks, and coordinate shift rotations.
  • Implement company policies and procedures, as well as enforce MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Monitor dry and wet plant equipment such as conveyors, screens and washers to hit targets.
  • Report and troubleshoot mechanical failures, track equipment downtime, and schedule routine repairs in collaboration with the maintenance department.

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and build our client base across diverse markets in the heavy haul sand sector. Duties

  • Understand the business as a whole, from initial customer contact to invoicing, and everything in between.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research to expand the company’s reach.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow the client base effectively.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to facilitate long-term collaborations.
  • Lead negotiations, deal closing, and contract management to secure profitable agreements aligned with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business development efforts.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, operations, dispatch, safety, and fleet to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Understand and apply basic safety and DOT requirements, as well as driver and equipment capacity, during contract negotiations and customer conversations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development management with a track record of expanding client bases effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for effective data management and reporting.
  • Strong skills in sales negotiation, relationship management, strategic planning, and deal closing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage clients confidently and articulate value propositions clearly.
